Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MyRide SG web application ("Service") at myridesg.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and workshop owners.

2. Description of Service

MyRide SG is a free motorcycle maintenance tracking and community platform for Singapore riders. The Service includes:

• Motorcycle service history and maintenance tracking
• Fuel fill-up logging and cost analysis
• Mileage and expense tracking
• Motorcycle workshop directory for Singapore
• Live petrol price information
• COE, insurance, and road tax expiry reminders
• XP-based rewards and gamification features
• Community ride events and forums

3. User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable Singapore or international laws or regulations
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited commercial content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (e.g., maintenance logs, reviews, workshop recommendations). By submitting content, you grant MyRide SG a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of content you submit. Workshop reviews and recommendations must be honest and based on genuine experiences.

6. Workshop Listings & Bookings

Workshop listings on MyRide SG are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any workshop listing. MyRide SG is a directory and booking facilitator only — we are not a party to any service agreement between you and a workshop.

MyRide SG is not responsible for: workshop pricing accuracy, service quality, damage caused during servicing, missed appointments, booking cancellations, payment disputes, or any other dispute between you and a workshop. Always verify workshop details independently and obtain a written quote before authorising work.

6a. Workshop Owner Terms

If you operate a workshop listed on MyRide SG ("Workshop Owner"), you additionally agree that:

• You hold all required Singapore business licences and authorisations to operate as a motorcycle workshop
• All information you submit about your workshop (services, prices, hours, address) is accurate and current
• You will respond to booking requests in a reasonable timeframe and honour confirmed bookings
• You will handle rider data (name, contact, bike info) received via bookings only for the purpose of providing the requested service, and in accordance with the PDPA
• You will not impersonate, defame, or solicit reviews from individuals who have not used your service
• Paid listing tier benefits (featured placement, WEP badges) are subject to maintaining accurate listings and good standing — we may downgrade or remove tier benefits for repeated complaints or policy breaches
• MyRide SG may suspend or terminate your workshop listing for any breach of these Terms, with or without notice

6b. Reviews & Recommendations

Reviews and workshop recommendations must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience. We may remove or moderate reviews that:

• Are off-topic, abusive, defamatory, or contain personal attacks
• Appear to be fake, incentivised, or written by parties with a conflict of interest
• Contain personal data of third parties without consent
• Violate Singapore law, including defamation statutes

Reviews are published in your display name. You are solely responsible for the content of your reviews.

7. Petrol Prices and Information Accuracy

Petrol prices displayed on the Service are sourced automatically and updated periodically. They are provided for reference only and may not reflect current pump prices. Always verify prices at the pump. MyRide SG is not liable for any decisions made based on price information displayed in the Service.

8. XP Rewards and Gamification

XP points, levels, and partner rewards are provided as a courtesy and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. XP and rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Partner reward availability is subject to the terms of individual partners and may expire or change without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logo, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by MyRide SG and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. The MyRide SG name and logo are trademarks of MyRide SG.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any information provided is accurate, complete, or current
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, MyRide SG and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes losses arising from inaccurate workshop information, missed reminders, missed bookings, or decisions made based on data displayed in the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed SGD $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

11a. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyRide SG, its operators, employees, and partners from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party right; (c) content you submit to the Service; or (d) your interaction with any workshop or other user through the Service.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably.

15a. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity will not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
